Data Deletion Policy

We respect your right to control your personal data. This policy explains how you can request deletion of your data, what gets deleted, and how long the process takes.

5.1 How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your POSTOLA AI account and all associated data in either of the following ways:

• Email support@postola.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include your registered email address.
• Delete your account directly from the Profile section of the app, which will initiate an automatic deletion request.

5.2 What Gets Deleted

Upon a verified deletion request, we will permanently delete or fully anonymise the following data within 30 days:

• Your account profile including name, email address, and mobile number
• All product photos, videos, and media files you have uploaded
• All AI-generated content stored on our servers linked to your account
• Social media access tokens and connection data
• Your usage history, session logs, and analytics tied to your account identity

5.3 Data We Retain After Deletion

Certain data may be retained even after a deletion request for legally required or legitimate business reasons, including:

• Transaction records and billing history for up to 7 years, as required by Indian financial and tax regulations
• Anonymised, non-identifiable usage data used for aggregate platform analytics
• Communications relevant to ongoing disputes, legal claims, or fraud investigations

5.4 Response Timeline

We will acknowledge your deletion request within 3 business days and complete the full deletion within 30 days. If we require additional verification to confirm your identity before proceeding, we will contact you at your registered email address.

5.5 Content Already Posted to Social Media

Content that has already been published to third-party platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook is outside our control. You must delete that content separately using the tools provided by those platforms.
