POSTOLA AI · Answer
How long does it take to make an AI product video with POSTOLA AI?
A 5-second product video from one photo takes about 2 to 3 minutes to render on POSTOLA AI, by the app's own estimate. First you upload the photo, pick the length, language and shape, and tap Generate. You can leave while it renders: the video lands in your Gallery and an email tells you it is ready.
Setting up is a few taps. Sign in with Google or a 6-digit code sent to your email; a new account starts with 40 free credits, enough for a 5-second product video (37 credits). Upload one clear photo of the product, choose the length (5 to 30 seconds), the language (English, Hindi or Hinglish) and the shape (9:16 for Reels and Shorts, 16:9, square or 3:4), and tap Generate. A motion prompt is optional; leave it empty and POSTOLA AI writes one.
The render runs on POSTOLA AI's servers, so your phone is free in the meantime. For a product video it describes the product from your photo, makes a styled picture of it, then films that picture at the length and shape you chose. The finished MP4 waits in your Gallery, ready to download or post.
An AI avatar video, where a presenter holds your product and talks about it, takes longer, because each step waits for the one before: the script is written, then voiced, and only then is the presenter lip-synced to that voice. Videos longer than 10 seconds are filmed in pieces of up to 10 seconds, each starting from the last frame of the one before, then joined, so a 30-second video takes longer than a 5-second one.

Questions people ask next
Can I close the app while the video is being made?
Yes. The video is made on POSTOLA AI's servers, not on your phone, so you can close the tab or switch apps. It is saved to your Gallery when it is done, and an email tells you it is ready.
Why does an AI avatar video take longer than a product video?
Its steps depend on each other. POSTOLA AI puts your product in the presenter's hands, writes the script, records the voice, and only then lip-syncs the presenter to that voice. A product video has no presenter to lip-sync.
Does a 30-second video take longer than a 5-second one?
Yes. Videos are filmed in pieces of up to 10 seconds, each starting from the last frame of the one before, and then joined, so a 30-second video takes longer. The 2 to 3 minute estimate is for a 5-second product video, which costs 37 credits; 30 seconds costs 137.
What if it is taking longer than usual?
Leave it running and do not start it again. The app tells you when a render is slower than usual and keeps working on it, and the video appears in your Gallery when it is done. If a render fails or gets stuck, POSTOLA AI stops it, puts the credits back on your balance automatically and emails you to say so.
How soon can I post it?
As soon as it is in your Gallery. Open the video there, tap Instagram, Facebook or YouTube, keep or edit the caption and hashtags POSTOLA AI writes, and post it; each post costs 1 credit. The first time, you connect each account once through the platform's own login screen.
